No word yet on whether any of original cast will be returning for this sequel, though several fan favorites ( Aneurin Barnard, Max Irons, Faye Marsay, Janet McTeer) are all out of the running by virtue of the fact that their historical counterparts are all dead at this point in the story. The White Princess will apparently be comprised of eight episodes, and original White Queen writer Emma Frost will be returning to pen the script. The original White Queen was produced by the BBC and adapted three of Gregory’s other novels in her “Cousins’ War” series ( The White Queen, The Red Queen and The Kingmaker’s Daughter) which followed the story of England’s War of the Roses from the perspective of three very different, very influential women.
